| The first saturday in May is always designated as National Homebrew Day, or Big Brew as some call it. This was HOPS first big brew and was organized by Nick Todd and Jake Teeter and was held in the Liberty Steakhouse Parking Lot. |

| The first official outting for the High Point Observers of Pint Science. We held a joint event with the High Point Elk's lodge where Elk's members were allowed to come and taste our brews. It was a great time for all. |

| Derek Meyn has put his incredible woodworking skills to work and put together a top notch bar for us to take on the road. The bar is equipped with 6 taps inside of two reversable towers. The whole bar collapses and can be easily stowed for easy travel. Made from two kinds of oak as well as a burly maple hand carved arm rail, this bar is a beauty and we're all very proud to serve our beers from it. |

| ?95 gallons of homebrew went down to Charlotte for the Oktoberfest, 19 empty kegs returned, and there was still an hour left in the festival! We also sold $150 worth of dog bones which the money will be donated to the local ASPCA.
